Northwest Boise

North End Historic District

The overarching district covering much of the North End, established as Boise's first suburban development in 1878. It includes a mix of Victorian, Craftsman, and other styles. Boundaries: Roughly State Street to the south, Hill Road to the north, 8th Street to the east, and 28th Street to the west.

Hyde Park Historic District

A vibrant sub-district centered around the commercial hub of Hyde Park on 13th Street. Known for eclectic shops, restaurants, and historic homes. It's the "heart" of the North End and a gateway to foothills trails.

Harrison Boulevard Historic District

A prestigious tree-lined street featuring grand historic mansions from the early 20th century. Located between 17th and 18th Streets in the heart of the North End. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Hays Street Historic District

A smaller district focused on Hays Street, showcasing well-preserved early 20th-century homes. Part of the broader North End preservation efforts.

These are protected areas with architectural and cultural significance, often guiding real estate development and preservation.

Brumbacks Addition

One of the oldest subdivisions, platted in the late 19th century, contributing to the North End's grid layout north of State Street. Features historic cottages and homes.

McCartys Subdivision

Condos and homes just south of downtown but within North End boundaries, near the Boise River. Location: South side of Jefferson Street between 17th and 18th Streets. Starting prices around $649,900.

Prichett Booth Development

Part of the historic Booth Memorial block, offering building lots. Location: Bounded by Bella St., Hazel St., 25th St., and 24th St. Lots from $480,000.

Ridge View
